the saragosa comes with 44lb of drag
so if i plan on not snapping the rod i should never go too hard on the drag

any idea on how much would fit onto a 14000 and 18000 saragosa

not sure what line i should be putting onto my new setup
last thing i want to do is end up with a snapped rod
the line weight for the rod is rated at MAX PE5 which i think is 50lb ??
i had planned on putting 80lb but after watching one of Nectics old videos of a rod being snapped on a tuna i want to make sure i have the correct line on
setup is going to be used for jigging and livebaiting
any help would be great

ive imported lots of downriggers from the states
0 problems
no hidden taxes
just cheap downriggers
best to buy the bombs in oz as they weigh alot and add to postage

i have the same reel with 8lb suffix braid
its amazing what the little reel can pull in its handled some good size salmon with no worries

i run green suffix 30lb on a few of rods never had a problem

the 100mtr line off terrigal is easy enough to work out where it is
but where abouts is the 12 mile

ive got kings on that wreck in Pittwater haha using 300g jigs, about 10 cranks and its at the surface but ive got em like that ! I dont know any really good jigging grounds of BB but ive got kings on jigs around some of the snapper reefs out there but the fish arnt thick at all.

haha gotta love using deep sea jigs in 10mtrs of water ha
yeh ill have a go out at boultins and reegies atleast the water is a little deeper there around the 50mtr mark

I always use a double uni but it sounds like the albright is the go.
Can anyone send a diagram or explain how to do an albright? I did a search on FR with no sucess.
