  1. yeh they work great

i have caught flattys at 3am pitch black on small squidgys

i prefer grubs that have alot of tail vibration and use some scent

  2. the best way to make sure you get all the photos off your cards is to NOT use the crappy software that comes with your camera

best to browse to the folder via my computer and copy the entire contents of your card to your computer then go threw and delete what you dont need

and if you do delete your card by accident there is software to recover the lost data

  3. Vinni,

To be honest with you buddy save your cash and get yourself a good sounder or look for a second hand one, preferably a furuno.

    Cheers,

    Theo

i have to agree with Theo

save your pennys and get a good quality one

if you buy a cheaper one you will soon be wishing you had spent a little more money and got one with more features, better screen, better resolution

i started off with a cheapo garmin which was upgraded a few months later to a entry level sounder which was then upgraded to a gps/finder combo

all this within a few months

best just to wait and get a good one

  4. sounds liike bad terminals

    check your wiring

if it was a bad battery it wouldnt start at all

dodgey wiring sounds like its to blame make sure terminals are clean and the connections are tight and making good contact

  5. Is that how lhey looked when they were new?? HEHEHE, mine are not quite as shiney anymore.

I drilled a hole in the top of the tail on my shark bombs as an attach point for the release clip.

    really

it says on there website that attaching a clip to the tail is a big no no and has to attach to the DR cable as it messes up the way it turns in the water

i just bought 2 scotty releases with the self locating snap so i can attach to the cable

i then run rubber bands to my line

havnt tested them out yet will give them a spin this weekend

  6. Logitech’s Pure-Fi Mobile Bluetooth Speakers

HERES some more info on them

    prefimobile.jpg

    these are perfect

they come in a soft cover case that stops them from getting spray on them and they sound great

built in battery has never let me down on the water lasts all day on a charge

  7. yeh i came across some cheap shark cannonballs

not the shark shaped ones but the shsrks that used to cost $200 each

ive read they track really well so should eliminate tangles and throw back and ive been told they also elimnate alot of hum from the wire on the DR

they ended up being cheaper then a stainless bomb so i got 2

    this is them

  8. Decided to get some marine carpet laid down on old Lazy A

does any one no of any good installers in the sydney area prefer the northen beaches

i no people are going to say its easy and dont waste money on getting some one to put it in for u

but the floor layout of my boat is weird there is a large center icebox/seat moulded into the floor and i prefer to have it looking good rather then a crappie half arse job that i would end up doing

    cheers in advance
