  2. Hi Carl,

Please try the link below, if it doesnt work Ill try sending you a picture when I get home as I dont have much access to do much at work,

Basically this spot is just under the brigde on the Pacific motorway very close to Dreamworld.

There is a boat ramp there also, I fished here a couple of times while I was living in Brisbane around 40 mins drive from Sunnybank Hills which is basically 15 Klms to Brisbane.

there is a walkway that goes under the bridge which can be fished all the way along, try burlying up with bread mixed with water and bait of choice by far would be Mullett, I have caught a few bream there and Id say there would be flatties around also.

where about's will you be staying whilst up in brisbane??

    Regards,

    Nathan

  3. Mate,

You are not doing anything wrong.. just stick with it and you will get into the fish eventually,

I find this time of the year is hard work for the shore based angler, unless your targeting Black fish (something I am dying to do but haven't got around to it just yet)

out of curiosity is it just Jew's that you are targeting???

Cause they have slowed down for most people I know that fish for them, but over the coming months the numbers will increase.

    Regards,

    Nathan

  4. Thats a nice way to spend your lunch well done to you,

I have been giving the kayak serious thought as it really allows you to get in close to those moorings and in a few months you will be playing with kingies instead of bream...

Wish I could go fishing at lunch!!!!!!!!!

    Regards,

    Nathan

  5. Hey Jez,

I am starting to get back into squidding myself but have not had much luck so far.

I am going to tee up with Johnny probably next week if your keen we can have a crack.

I may even sneak out for a couple of hours tonight if I am up to it as I was up late last night watching the Fight "GO Choc"!!!!!!

    Regards,

    Nathan

  6. hi nathan the squid is tempting to eat but i think a jewy would be a better meal lol, ryan stopped working there about 3 months ago and went to victoria, still good blokes there though.

Yeah I have to agree, a good jew is worth a thousand squid,

I had a feeling Ryan moved on was just wondering,

    Regards,

    Nathan

  7. No Doubt About it, Thats a great haul of Squid.

do you know if Ryan is still over there at the tackle store you mentioned?

I used to buy most of my stuff from there but live too far away from there now.

Lets hope you can convert those Squid into Jew but if I had them In my freezer there would not be luch left by the weekend lol

    Regards,

    Nathan

  8. how much did you prime it??? I normally dont prime my outboard unless it has not been started in a while, It sounds like it was flooded to me also, as allready mentioned give the plugs a clean and try again and make sure the vent is open on the fuel tank,

Also I would not prime it at all as there should still be some fuel in the carby,

    Regards,

    Nathan
