Smasher
Nice boat dicky21! I'm actually going to go have a look at a Stejcraft 580C Islander on Sunday
Davison
^^ That's actually a Mercury 115 in the first photo. Nice rigs those Islanders, I know a bloke with a 580C and he loves it. Similar in a few respects to a Savage 585C which is what I have.

552Evo
Hi all, I've been a sticky beak ( not saying much) for too long. Anyway this is my Evolution Axis 552. Had it 2 years now and love it I just love everything about Centre Consoles. This one is 6.2M LOA with a Merc 150 to push it along. Heaps of storage and plenty of walk around fishing space. Spent most of the past 2 years fishing the bay but I've ventured outside a few times now and I'm definitely hooked offshore. Been through The Port Phillip Heads (The Rip) a few times in 6+M swell and the boat handles very well. Great thread, I can stare at boats all day. cheers Jamie 7

552Evo
Thanks rozza_b, yeah I love it, I just wish the weather would settle so I can get out in it. I've chalked up enough brownie points over the last 2 months so I'm keen. I just got myself an epirb so I'm keen to head out a bit further now and get stuck into some deeper water fishing outside the bay - where I've usually fished. Hope you get out soon and hook up, good luck and cheers. Jamie
fish2relax
Been a member on here for a while now. Recently took the plunge into a bigger boat and picked up this Sailfish with Twin 140hp Volvo deisels. Call sign Chicka. Boat is moored in Brooklyn. Fish wide off Broken Bay and down to Browns. If you see me out feel free to say g'day. 9
grantos
Old Boat - 90 Riviera 27 - new to us - amazing condition 5.7 Volvo Penta runs smooth if not a little thirsty No work done apart from a refresh of the dash and electronics.. Downrigger and removable bait tank (BaitMate) on the way ready for summer. Just need to get the confidence up offshore and hit the wider marks to put my partner onto the fish! Cant believe how crowded the inner spots (north head, old mans hat etc.) get - you can literally have a conversation with the boat next to you.... 1

I have to fold down the Bimini to fit it under the 3 meter high carport, I could not get the hard top as it wouldn't fit LOL I am stoked with the boat and the soft top. Also the rocker launcher is folded down and strapped to the roof so I can get in and out Edited May 6, 2019 by Basil D

Has: 40hp Yammie Getting a Lowrance Hds 9 Live Built in 60L Live Bait Tank 80L Fuel Tank Casting Platform And getting extra rod holders and swapping the rails for new ones! (There are more but I cant think of em) Your first boat? Post up some pics when you have it set up the way you want. Or, better still, start a thread and post up progress reports, pictures, etc. 80L of fuel? Does that include the 25L plastic tank on the floor in the pics? Does the battery slide into that space behind it? I wouldn't want either, battery or fuel tank, sliding around on the floor when zipping around in it. A recipe for busted ankles!
