AGP Posted November 5, 2014 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Gday Raiders, Got out for a Jew session on plastics yesterday. No Jew but got a nice consolation prize of a 93cm Flatty. Biggest for me by 7cm and by far the heaviest/fattest fish I've come across. 10 minutes into the session and tick on the 8lb and she loaded up in 3 metres of water in a big way. On her first run she was peeling that much drag my mate was calling it a Jew! Usually they kinda give up quick but not when they are 6kg plus on light gear! After a couple pics I quickly released the big girl and she swam off very strongly and bit my finger through the glove as a goodbye present. 7cm off that magic metre but I'm not complaining. 2-4kg rod, 2500 reel, 85mm Squidgy fish was the lure that she fell for.
