Guest Guest123456789
Hi Raiders, Launched from east Gosford solo this morning. Car park was full so annoyingly I had to park on the reserve. Curse that damn new pie shop! The target species was flathead. Hit the water just at the start of the ebb tide. Fished first location and opened the batting with a tiny snapper. Released. Tried a second spot. Paternoster with half pilchards at the stern. Casting a soft plastic at the bow. Managed a good lizard 40cm+. Changed spot and fished another 2 hours. Happy to get two more lizards 50cm+ and new PB (prob around 70cm). Seemed like a bit of action today amongst other boaters despite less than ideal conditions. Guest Guest123456789
Hi Farvos, That it is. My first sounder/GPS and it does everything I want it to do and is easy to use. Highly recommend.
Farvos
My new boat is going to be fitted with one. Ill see how it goes. My old boat had a HDS5 Sounder and HDS5 Gps side by side. Was a good setup we will see how the combo goes. Does the touch screen work with wet/fishy fingers?
Guest Guest123456789
Make sure you turn the menu auto hide setting to 'on'. It is a pretty small screen and you need every cm
Guest Guest123456789
Surprising how much meat on them filleted and skinned - won't bother cooking chips
