Berleyguts
This appeared in my Facebook feed this afternoon. Thatβs Shoal Bay Country Club in the background. It happened this afternoon. Do you think he mistimed the surge? π 1 1 1
Blackfish
Climate change, big tide. ? Would have been worse with a glass boat.
jeffb5.8
Ouch will be a absolute pain to get back on to the trailer. I worry when I drag my boat up that hill, sometimes I even go round to Gov rd to avoid it.

Cheers Zoran I didnt notice the Etec on the back π±π± even more heartbreaking!!! Last weekend I did circa 10Β hrs trolling and only burnt 55 Litres. Not bad for a 150HP motor.Β

Not bad for a 150HP motor Yes yes nice consumption figure.... not sure why they are Etecs (seems you guys should call them oooh-ahhh-Tecs) .... would you have any idea of how many kms you covered?Β Β For comparison my 200HP EFI Merc, last Sunday Parsley Bay-50-60m flathead grounds-FAD-trolling-Parsley BayΒ ... over 100km covered, used around 100L according to gauge. WeΒ trolled at 1700rpm (12km/h), and punched back from offshore at up to 50km/h (4400-4800rpm), in the river 60+km/h(5100rpm). So I'm still pretty happy with the black growl...but itΒ doesn't have the torque to park the boat half way up the road ! Cheers ZΒ
Scratchie
Haha, I got sent that yesterday whilst I was out fishing! Needless to say, we were extra careful loading the boat! π

That's pretty good fuel consumptionΒ for a 200HP !Β I dont have an exact measurement but that day we did botany to browns and then south east browns and then the peak. So I'd say circa 100km.Β

srxwat4
I did the same thing at Revesby Beach when the ratchet failed,I know ,I should have a safety chain or at least tie the bugger down.

I do both & I only have a 13ft tinny. If I didn't use tiedowns the thing would just bounce off the trailer.
