Scratchie
G’day raiders, After Friday's efforts, it was time to get away for the weekend with the family and a bit of peace and quiet. Headed up to a friends farm and kicked back and relaxed with all my kids and granddaughter. There was plenty to do on the farm that kept everyone entertained but for me the pick of things to do was walk down to the dam with beer in hand and have a few flicks with the kids. The boys got a couple of bass and I dropped my ones! Damn. Still fun all the same!!!! Today, the eldest son and me headed out this morning into the bay to set out some crabs traps and have a flick for some flatty whilst we waited. It was high tide and hopes were high but the fish didn’t want to play. So we moved around a bit waiting for the tide to turn and start to run out. That seemed to do the trick and they started coming in the bite. Managed enough for a feed then we started letting a few go! Left them biting and headed home. Another great day exploring our beautiful waterway! Thanks for reading, cheers scratchie!!! P.S. Had to sneak a photo of my granddaughter in too 😄😄😄

They grow up so fast. It’s important to me to get together when possible. We are fortunate enough to all live close.
