Gday, headed out last night to fish the Georges for some Mulloway. Kayak in the water by 8:30 to fish the 10:30 hightide. It was abit breezy at first and light rain but nether heavy enough to make fishing uncomfortable.

Bites was quite up until the tide change where I had a take on the whole squid but the bottom hook was cut of right at the Snell of the second hook, Clean cut as well.

I pulled up my first Jew at 11:20pm estimate measurement was around 60cm. Took a liking to whole squid and released very well for being hooked pretty badly.

After that I did not a bite so I headed in at 12:10am

Overall, enjoyed the trip out despite it being very quite on the bites department, rain and wind calmed off by the tide change. Water temp was 21.5-22c

Nice fish, even at 60 they pull like a train

Good to hear that water temp is getting up there.

Last day I went out in the bay a couple of weeks ago it was still 17c.

Yeah water temp been slacking, the bay is still pretty cool for this time of year. sitting around 18c still.
