Hi All,

As most of you know I catch & release fish like other Raiders do.

This year I have been giving them to the neighbours.

Two weeks ago two pensioners knocked back whiting & blackfish I offered them.I think I spoiled them giving them snapper.

Sunday afternoon I had a knock on the door & there was my friendly pensioner asking for some fish.

Sorry mate haven't been fishing lately.

End of story.

Maybe he can swap you something for the fish.

When I was much younger, I use to swap with the neighbours. Fish for leg of lamb, chops, steak, eggs, and one lady made me a chocolate cake whenever necessary.

My grandfather won a chook at the bowling club chook raffle every week, without fail (he did not eat chook) so I took the chook and he took some fish from me, and, he taught me some fishing expertise when I was very young.

You’re doing it all wrong mate.I practice feed and release without even having to see the fish.😂How rude.coming over bludging fish off you..It’s one thing to accept and appreciate when someone gives you something but turning up asking for it is a no no in my books..I would of given them the sardine bones after my cats finished eating.

I have decided to go fishing only in winter. To many people around in summer.

I think I lost a nrighbour.

Somebody said to me you are not the blood bank.

I would of said here you go I saved it especially for you.But please only take small bites as I wouldn’t want you to choke.

As a builder, I see these so called mates all the time, only knocking on the door when they want something.

@Rebelgive them a handful of peas and point them to the river.

Some of them have never been fishing. 

That is the problem

I am not about to start a fishing school.
