Basil D
I use 40lb Fluorocarbon leader rods 8/12kg is enough, I’ve pulled 1.4 meter fish with that just got to take your time , reels I use Saragossa
Fried Rice
Nice fish & they are great eating. Can't beat fishing or hunting with your Bro, especially as we get older.

big Neil
Not much better in life than having family visit and spending a successful day on the water eh, Basil? Does he reciprocate with a fishing trip in Tasmania? Fishing down there could be very different. Anyway, you have the Dollies all worked out and will have plenty of quality fish to eat, for the foreseeable future. Top photos too. I've never fished for them. What rig do you use with the livies? bn Edited February 25, 2023 by big Neil
