Rebel
Arrived just after Sunrise. Cool morning. Blackfish were the go. Had to set up three rods. All new to the boys. Teaching them how to use the gear was something else, but they caught on straight away. Keen as mustard. We ended up with 12 Fish. Lots of laughs. Lost a few that goes with the territory. Had to leave the rain was coming. Top morning had by all. No Green Peas. Maybe next time. Cheers.
wazatherfisherman
I reckon you learn more about fishing in general if you spend some time fishing for Blackfish. They cover all aspects of fishing. Good on you for taking the boys out and getting them onto some good fish Rebel! 2
Pickles
Well done @Rebel, one of the joys of fishing is spending time with friends and family - especially sharing with them new skills. Blackfish is where it all started for me - love fighting those little string pullers.
Green Hornet
Well done again Rebel. I agree 100% with Wazza, if you’re proficient at catching blackfish, you can catch anything that swims. 4

big Neil
Well done Rebel. Regarding the degree of difficulty, there are much easier-caught fish to start learning the ropes with. Starting them (successfully) halfway up the ladder will have them hooked for life, with a pile of great memories thrown in. Well done YOU and well done THEM. bn
