AlbertW
Hey Raiders, Decided to go out for a 2 hour session at balmoral beach again with the same little diver. The tailor were still around and I managed to land 8 small tailor throughout the session, as I started to cover ground I managed to hook up on a 50-60 ish cm flatty which put up a very nice fight on 10lb light gear. Nearing the end of the session I somehow managed to hook a numb ray which I didn’t know at the time could electric shock me so I just rolled him back in. There eas also a seal/dolphin sighting which was chasing a big school of baitfish or something as there was 20ish seagulls circling it. Overall a pretty productive session with many fish landed. Thanks for reading, Albert

FishingFables
Sounds like a great little season Albert. I’m sure the flathead would have given a good fight on light gear. Well done.

Did you go early or late in day fish the beach on the right side of the island as the left side is very muddy and weedy, I was there during the middle of the day, for flatties they'll be anywhere so just cover ground
