Crabstar Posted August 28, 2023 Share Posted August 28, 2023 Tough day. Started off with a squid session first two drops resulted in 2 squid. Then for the next 2hrs big fat zero. Since it was rather a beautiful morning pushed out wide to 70m directly off merries reef, with 1 flathead to 58cm, cracker size. Shortly after that it went quiet and was loosing baits far too much. Moved south by 250m ended up in 65m picked up another flatty, then went quiet for another hour. Pushed further south pass the bommie by about 2km seem to find somewhat a patch of them, but the swell picked up a little bit, with the roll back of the swell of the cliffs made me feel a bit queezy so called it a day 🥴🤮 All morning it seemed to be quiet kept moving around offshore ended up take 11 sea flathead over the 5hrs between the three of us. 11 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
