hey mate, the autopilot is basically a compass attatched to the motor. say your moving to a nearby spot- you POINT the motor in the exact direction you want to go then press the button, then set the speed you want travel at(press the con button for foot free use) and sit down and relax.. the autopilot will automatically compensate for wind and boat resistance. if you want it to help you stay in the one spot in the current, first set the direction into the current turn it on then adjust the speed to that of the current.. hope this helps..stevo..
  3. ive only been saltwater fishing over there, but if australian customs here the words (freshwater fishing) your probebly in for some delays on the way back.. but you can bring back frozen snapper fillets if you wish, due to the saltwater.
  4. i havnt heard if the kings are out that way yet but they should be here within the next month or so..
  5. remove it with a razor blade or sharp knife by cutting of the epoxy and binding. take it to bcf or west gosford bait and tackle and find the right size. buy some similar color thread/binding and some 5 minute araldite. superglue the guide in the right position then rest the rod on a table,a small bit of super glue to keep the thread from spinning, wrap the guide tightly up and then back down, finishing with another bit of super glue. mix up your araldite, apply evenly where needed. thats the very basic way but it works. good luck

  14. ive had my share of problems with the foot pedals.. my first thought is that your battery is running low.. second thought is to pull apart the pedal and have a look for any rust or foreign objects on the pressure switches.. theres a couple of phillips screws under it and about 3 small springs..

  19. My link "sinking the avoca brand"
  20. i just finished watching the "no adelaide group" video on you tube, it sounds like there worried about there "famous" surfing image competing with the new dive image. theres no mention of a fishing image but im pretty sure the avoca rock fishing platform is one of the biggest and most crowded on the nsw coast.
