we had the same sort of problem on dads boat (haines 17L) but we went the quick fix and just used some silicone. ill be interested in what you find for your boat as the silicone doesnt really last.. good luck..stevo.. -

hello all, my brother will be heading up to hervey bay next week and hes thinking of doing a day trip out to fraser. so im wondering if anyone has been lately and can tell me an approx price for the barge over and back and also the permit side of things. also whats the fishing like in hervey bay??thanks in advance.stevo..

stick with the fire line buddy, ( if it aint broke dont fix it.). i won some real fine stuff in a bream tourny worth about $80 and keept getting wind knots so it went straight in the bin. now i stick with the tried and tested stuff..cheers..stevo..

some idiot stole my first flick stick that i started lure fishing with many years ago.not happy at all. i would have liked my kids to use it when they start lure fishing..

the first guess is that its an ants nest or something similar. just get some thin wire or thick fishing line and stick it up the hose and hopefully thats does it, also check the hose all the way into the motor(pull it off and check). thats the first check i do.its fixed our outboard problems heaps of times..

there good in the deep fryer too, cut into strips- flour then egg then bread crumbs.. cook for a few minutes until golden brown and enjoy..

hi everyone, so are we all trying to meet at the caravan parks boat ramp area at 6am or is there another designated area to meet up?? also i will have a spare spot in my boat for anyone wanting to throw some lures around,ill be trying to fish from about 6am till 12pm.ill be launching from the boat ramp on the sth west side of the entrance chanel between 530-6am.. pm me if your interested..good fishing every one..stevo..

it was way to sloppy and rough to head out wide so we tried the fad for a couple of small dolphin fish on lures. then we tried in close for 4 nice snapper with some bonito and small kings mixed in..
