Hey mate, that usually happens to be when i go squidding if you cant get them i usually switch to a really small jig 1.8g or so in the yozuri naturals range. Give that a go and it usually works. Cheers YG

Hi all, Just a small report from Monday. Hit the harbour Monday afternoon chasing some kings with my good mate. We were on the water at 4pm and off by 7.30pm We found a few squid here and there but had to work fairly hard regularly changing spots and they were few and far between. We dropped 2 squid down going through middle harbour with nothing taking them. On we go towards north head and still nothing to cheer about. We then decided to pass by some channel markers and On the 2nd pass the TLD goes ballistic! line is screaming off and finally we're onto a decent fish. Set the hook and battle it out for about 10 minutes and then a big fella of 93cm comes up from the depths, hi 5's all round and not a bad result for a few hours fishing. Get out there and get em! Yeah mate ive had the same problem, I fish down at narrabeen lakes alot, mostly around the woolies bridge. There are always people there with undersized bream and flatties and it really gets me angry. If you speak to some of the people down there they will just ignore you. Feel like ringing the fisheries and telling them to come down and have a look. YG

Thats a joke mate, You did nothing wrong and were abiding to the sticker that fisheries gave you. Not to worry, ending up with a nice 72cm fish, well done. YG
