  2. the second investment on the new boat is a downrigger, first is a chartplotter if it hasn't already got one, anyone got any recomendations to what is the best brand/ model to go for? It's got to be relativly cheap, easy to store away and not get in the way. Will be using it for kings maybe bit of outside trolling for marlin etc. cheers james

  5. Yeh me and dom have pretty much got into the flattys there, OK size to, have caught snapper there no big ones though. I caught a 59cm king there about 18 months ago on fresh squid, also caught a big pufferfish in 90 feet of water. Iv heard they get a few sharks around there too. Give us a yell next time your going out as we ususally like to finish our day off there haveing a bottom bash, and might be able to show you some spots. cheers james

  7. We have 6x 9-10 inch 5 stud pattern tyres for our trailer, the rubber we use is kenda kinetics, my dad either gets them from his work or from beaurepairs, tyremart or anyplace like that. cheers james

  10. Hi guys Went to top the bearing buddies up this arvo, pulled the cap off to find that the nipple had snapped off, tried to screw it back in but nothing happens, now there is grease leaking out. Can someone please point me in the right direction of what my problem might be? I am assuming that the bearings have collapsed. cheers james

    Hi guys The 1st race of the 1st round of the v8 supercar series at adelaide. Iwill say what a ripper of a race No saftey car and murphy ran out of fuel on the last lap Well ford came 2nd and 3rd, but you watch out tommorow FORDS GOING TO DOMINATE Top race with good action and surprisingly no notourious turn 8 craches. cheers james

    Rapala Braid

    Hi guys I buy jarvis walker braid from ***** not only is it cheaper i find it to be better than any other braid i have used, i have 3 reels with J.W braid and none of them have gone white, and the lines more than a year old and it is really tough to, not very abrazive, 25bucls for a spool or 300 mteres at ***** guys, i reccomend you try it. cheers james

HOW COULD I FORGET THIS ONE Up at portstevons last easter staying at my caravan, decided to take the neighbour johns boat out and have a tube round the front of the caravan park( bayliner 2250l only 4 in Australia, 260hp v8) We Launched at the lemon tree ramp, i go to johns son jamie did he put the bung in??? jamie goes oh yeh he never forgets that, motorin up the channel in a 4knot zone about 400 meters from the ramp jamie goes (John why is the carpet wet?) OH crap the bung, we have been on this boat heaps of times and never forgot the bung, oh well we got the bung in pumped a good 300 liters out of the hull with the bilge. cheers james
  22. A good place to pump nippers is across the water from brighton at towra, also dolls point area is a top place, seen plenty of nipper/worm holes there. cheers james

  25. Hi kabz You shuld be able to pick up tailor, pike, bream, flathead, pinkies, probably jews whiting, trevally, just make sure you use fresh bait and burly. cheers james
