  1. There is a pic in my first post in this thread, can you not see it? Here are some more.
  2. Daniel it was caught yesterday, took 1hr on 24kg on a pilly. Mike it was caught North East of Browns wide of the baitstation. Kamil
  3. My good friend got some Albies today and this YFT that went 74kg
  4. I try and use very fleshy baits with no skin and bite sized pieces with lots of meat though when they are finnicky. Scales and skin sometimes put them off. Bait jigs with bait work well, just use a very heavy sinker(snapper Lead) and it may help with tangles, for yakkas but Slimies are a pain
  5. Do you use the Yakkas as live bait or in fillets? Try that and unweighted squid strips.
  6. Chris i was there Saturday night, i know what you saw they were doing the same this night, we managed to get 3 all between 30-35cm and lost two others but gee they were hard going! I know what you say about the pickers, i reckon it was Bream, two other guys got some i managed a 4kg Octapus and thats about it. THey were so hard to hook those Cowan Young though, it pee'd me and the GF off!
  7. WHat works for me is i drop the cubes at the side as close to the boat, i hang my arm over the side down the side of the boat as far up the boat to the front as you can and drop from 10cm above the water, they dont see it and by the time they drift to them they are usually too far down, but sometimes it just dont help if there are too many around.
  8. Wicked report Arman, as usual, and pics to boot, bad luck to Mr Sharkey and well done on the Fin, i heard that Tricats Fin went 60kg after the sharking. Oh and was this report from today or yesterday that you went out? Cause Tricat was out there yesterday. Top report. Kamil
  9. Incredible stuff champ. Kamil
  10. Beautiful fish Arman, well done to you. Daniel, i know guys that have straightened those Top Shot Gaffs on big Tigers. Although that is a very tough ask. Kamil
  11. Sammy, just asked my mate for you who come back from New Caledonia, time of his life, straightened 11/0 Owners and STC trebles on 130lb braid, he recommends these lines. Says they are top notch. -Deep1 made by Sunline. -PE Jigger Braid. IGFA rated. Kamil
  12. I do not like any Platipus line, i have had problems with the super 100, the Platinum, and others, including the Classic, it will snap on you really easy because of the symptoms you say it exhibits, those hair like strands are bad news, tie a know with it and see if you can snap it, im sure it will easily. Thats just my thoughts, others may have no probs with it.....but doubt it. Kamil
  13. Yep, considering it took 150m of line in 15secs on sunset on 24kg, yep it was a good fish!!! I dont care, we saw more fish than most boats out there, and it was great to put two newbies onto their first Fin. The company was even better. Kamil
  14. Thats a top effort especially for off a beach. Well done to you all. kamil
  15. We got one fish trolling around Browns in the morning, then another in the arvo at another spot 12miles away, lost a few other including a monster after a blistering run. Fish we got were 8kg and 12kg. Kamil
  16. Well done champ, what area were you roughly fishing and what did they fall for, bait or lures? That is a great effort for first go. On another note, just saw a report of Bluefin to 100kg off Kiama! Many taken on the cube. They will or may be here already! Kamil
  17. Sorry i meant leverage and workability around the rocks you fish off, Wilson make a good 10ft LBG Rod, it is well worth the look, the leverage you are talking about is better achieved with a short rod. Kamil
  18. Wasnt it on the news that bus drivers in the past were given a free ride if they got booked? They waved the fines from the RTA?, now they took that away and people are getting what they rightly deserve, i drive for a living too, and although i think we should have double the amount of points well all i can say is good on them! You speed you lose. Kamil
  19. Black Magic make some nice ones, ive caught Snapper, Flathead and other reef fish in south east QLD on the reefs. Kamil
  20. Ive used them and do use them, they are great. Kamil
  21. I tried but could not get it on here. Crazy jump. I have seen others and they are nuts.
