  1. Champ you really do get onto the fish, the amount of times i've seen you ask for company and no one jumps in i dont know why? You have produced the goods the last two times, i would be jumping at the chance to go with ya if i had no boat or had time off! Well done to you Kamil
  2. Great work James and crew. At least you saw a whole lot of one fish, we just saw a whole lot of water Kamil

Could be a Saltist or Saltiga?
  5. A good place to start is South Curl Curl ledges. 50m walk, fish are there, and its comfortable in any type of weather nearly. Top little spot. Kamil
  6. Good time to holiday around the world.
  7. Works fine, unless its misty and foggy then you MAY struggle to find satellites. Once that fog sets in sometimes its a nightmare to see anything but i feel you should be sweet Kamil

    600 Lb Bluefin

The story and the fish is truly amazing! Thanks for posting that Ross and Stewy Kamil
  10. Just wait and get a new boat, it won't add that much value to your boat. I had an inflatable 2.7m with a brand new 15hp on it. Did about 60 clicks.
  11. Rhodes??????? :gleam: Dont know the name of the park or bay.
  12. There were alot of Gummy's in the river on Saturday night, i was fishing in front of Patonga on the change of the tide and saw alot of boats at the Flint. IMHO Flint and Steel does not fish that well for Jews anymore. Juno only fishes good at certain times of the tide for Jew, it is a gun spot, you have to be in the right position though, otherwise you catch Wobbegongs, eels and rays. Try fishing up river somewhere on the run out, you'll do better there than the Flint. Fish near drop offs and close to shore, very close to shore, Jew dont swim in the channels, they swim close to shore :gleam: Good report though.
  13. 7 to 8ft Wilson 8 to 10kg. Anything similar. Strong sensitive and will do the job.
  14. Just had reports come in that the Jews are on in the Hawkesbury again. Mate got Seven the other day. Weather heating up, going to be a good season.

JoCool, i have the Okuma Eclipse and after half a year it pooped itself the drag washers are shot, the drag is not smooth anymore. Its my opinion and i think Okuma are crap, i would rather buy a Jarvis Walker and thats saying alot. I know i may get bagged for this but tackle store owners push to sell Okuma reels because they get them for sooooo cheap. I mean the Eclipse is about $180, the tackle store owner pays about $60 for them, triple the price you pay. This is the sole reason they push people to buy Okuma. I know they have warranties but is it worth going thru all that when my $40 Shimano FX 4000 has caught all the same fish as the Okuma and is still going strong after 4years and its been giving a hammering. Stick with Shimano or Daiwa or Penn.

Thornleigh tackle store is a bit expensive, Rudi charges heaps for everything. Well worth a look though.

I think that price is bit steep??? i can get a 9500 for $260, brand new. Ive seen them for around $150 from memory.
  18. I caught one on a 20gram Raider lure 3years ago at Dobroyd head. The flatty was smaller than the lure. The fish was about 4cm long, i as in awe for the rest of the day.
