No experience in that transition but I have always liked the cabin boats. Can even get a sleep while you wait for that Jewfish to come along with the right boat! Any particular ones you are looking at?

Sell it to your mate and get a half cabin. Still a perfect all rounder IMO. I always wanted a bowrider when i got into boats. Lucky my friend had one and i realised how tricky it was to get out to Lion island at times. Bought a half cab. You can sleep in it. Boarding ladder and swim platforms at back for when you decide to swim, high sides for fishing outside. Love it.

Go to Parsely bay in Bobbin head. Head into Waratah bay for livies and then head off to Juno.

Anyone cruised passed Flint and Steel recently at night? When you are along the main channel it looks like a city! So many boats parked with LED lights, looks quite cool. I wish I could capture a photo of it at night!

Fire pit mate! Was watching Low Range one night where a guy had an old chicken (on purpose) and was laying it by the water for the crocs. But he couldn't do it form the smell. I am pretty sure I wouldn't be able to do it either. Not sure what would be worse, chicken or pilchards!

Well there are less Honda dealers if you think about it. I think the Honda's are quite reliable and if I had a choice I would get a Honda BUT... the other issue with the Hondas is the weight. So a 225 Honda vs Another 225 Yammie will have a big difference in weight and I think that will be a huge factor for some boaties.

Strange so there is no area to fit a bilge pump towards the back of the boat? it is all a flat floor all the way? Any pics? Two things to check for leaks, make sure your bungs are sealed properly, like the little rubber grommet around the bung is in good condition. Second, not sure how the wiring boot is from the engine to the back of the boat. I know in some boats it is open and water comes in - but then again you would see this if you didn't have a floor all the way to the back. Third thing, now that you have removed your carpet, check all the joins around your boat, so when you wash it down, water is not flowing in from your hose. There was a member here with a Tournament and was leaking water from the bungs. All that time it was coming from when he was washing his boat out.

Don't know about this one. I always seem to find them on a muddy bottom. Maybe don't fish the muddy bottoms? You fishing around Berowra?
