Mate let me assure you it's tide. There are 7 water quality testers in the river and we experience this every fortnight. Salinity levels are extremely high and only lower on the low tides.

I don't buy anything online. You are shooting yourselves in the foot. Buy from your local tackle store support your community, and they will be around forever, otherwise they will Slowly disappear and we will all be left with know option but to buy online and I bet you the prices will increase.

If that is you in the red there is no way known to man that spheros is locked. If it was before that photo was taken you would have 2 rods due to it being snapped because of being high sticked.

Sorry post above is incorrect. A NW breeze Is a breeze from the NW heading SE. A NE is a breeze from the NE heading SW A SW is a breeze from the SW heading NE A SE is a breeze from the SE heading NW

What's the point of anti reverse? Get rid of it, fixed gear reel. Got two reels with anti reverse issues that spin backward in strke when a fish hits. Never use it just another thing to go wrong.

Berowra has pretty much zero tidal influence and is massively affected by wind that's why you must use 2 anchors when fishing there. Current pours through the bridges and if you are being pushed in the opposite direction to the tide you won't get much drifting in the wrong direction.

If you drifted between the railway bridge and the road bridge wouldn't that make it the run in?
