Here is the link to the dpi website that’s tells size and bag limits. https://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/fishing/recreational/fishing-rules-and-regs/saltwater-bag-and-size-limits If you are targeting flathead with live bait, I’d either use poddy mullet or pencil sized yakkas! (Yellowtail Scad) Fishing the shallows I’d use a small float and pin it through the nose. Cheers scratchie!!!

Good luck wellzy! I played with the family up at Coffs recently! I had an absolute ball. I followed this lady around and shot her every time her gun reenergised. It took her 10 minutes to realise where I was! I might have been my laughing that gave it away! Your stuff looks pretty serious though! Good luck with your goals!

Agree rick! The heads a little heavier this morning! ? But I have respooled 2 reels and sorted out most of my gear! I even found a few bags with the old “what’s in that”, only to find a few packets of jigs and sps I’ve hidden from the kids. Ive checked in on fishraider every hour and watched 4 re-runs of wicked tuna! Cant wait to get out again! Cheers scratchie!!!

I’ve seen them on bigangry fish use them in NZ for chasing kings. They use them and trumpeter and cut them horizontally and pin the backs. In saying that, the areas they target kings they would eat a banana. There is a lot better bait to use imo! Cheers scratchie!!!
