  1. I had a 60 yammy on my vsea  great motors...if you are having doubts any easy clean if you don't want to remove carbs;it only takes 5 mins by the way;take fuel line off on outward side of fuel filter on side of motor and spray a heap of carby cleaner in it..replace then pump fuel bulb  then wait ten mins then start motor on hose..this works well ive done it..if you have any running probs then take carbs off.its only four bolts and two clips then you can remove bowls and fully clean...if you have decent filter an water separator you shouldn't need to do this..rick

  2. unfortunately you are asking questions that are too hard to answer in a short form...some of us have been fishing for 40yrs or more to understand when an where we fish and with all that knowledge we still draw blanks..its not a matter of saying go to this rock an throw here..every spot is different..your asking for pointers that we cant give..we don't know where u are going too..what you are using..when you are going..what the tide is what the weather is...TOO MANY.variables to give sensible answers....lots of my best rock spots I have spent time snorkeling there to look at bottom fish bait to know whats there where to throw where not to throw...none of this knowledge was handed to me on a plate  or a forum..part of the fun of fishing is trying new areas and new tecniques...im 55 and im stil goin to new spots and try different types of fishing....go out and enjoy spending time on the water trying to catch fish..if you caught them every time it would be called catchin not fishin....rick

  4. hey dada  contrary to others beleifs...I catch most of my 6kg plus snapper on short shank titanium hooks size 1/0 .. I use slightly bigger 3/0 when using whole heads of slimies for reds..big snapper can get a 6 or 7/0 hook and break them in their mouth...all the big reds I catch are hooked in the mouth or lips with 1/0 short shank hooks..i will make it my mission this next year to crack 10kg..rick

  5. you can sometimes get a few in the shallow bays behind the rockwalls along the blacksmiths side..follow the street from the boatramp heading east along waterfront..if you have boat or yak try blackneds bay 200/300 mtrs in from rsl..or very low tides try shallows behind coon island carpark next to caravan park...rick
