  1. This would work at a fraction of the cost from Bunnings (Drill a few holes and a bung hole at the bottom to drain)
  2. Just to add a little more info for the rego - keep the weight under 256 or you will pay the weight tax ($100) on it every year and it will also need a inspection every year
  3. The water from Warragamba dam is muddy and the filtration plant there is not coping -
  4. Just something to add from today - because Warragamba Dam is spilling over and the quality of water in the dam the Sydney Desalination was instructed to increase flow from 100 ML/day to 220 ML/day (100 ML/day is 1/5th capacity of the plant)
  5. No, I have a Stacer 509 SeaRunner (out of the same factory as yours) and I use the factory ski pole & the large bait board, (swap them out) and I stop them from moving about in the hole with two metal roofing screws
  6. An exhaust valve is a valve that releases burned gases from a cylinder. The exhaust valve closes during the initial part of the induction stroke. The inlet valve usually opens a little before top dead center and the exhaust valve remains open a little after top dead center.

  9. sorry could not tell you the RPM as I do not remember - as I normally don't run flat out as its too fast - with just my self and a mate and on half a tank on a glass flat surface (Port Hacking) my best speed is 42knots (too fast for me)
  10. I have the same 2016 115 Etec motor on a 2016 Stacer 509 Searunner and I have put a SE Sport 300 hydrofoil and now it jumps out of the water and top speed of mine is 38knots and has no Porpoise(ing), quite fast and very smooth ride on flat surface. (I trim around 48 on the gauge) only 77Ltrs of fuel on mine and hull slightly lighter
  11. Narooma would be about the worst bar on the south coast - we went down there a few years back and I took one look at it and turned around and fished the river -
  12. When does the restaurant open ???

    Poor start

Jon, Many years ago I did a similar dump thing bought a boat in an auction on ebay -(near new motor was ten years old with 200 hours on it) and the paint rubbed off when polished, trailer was in good nick but not 1 year old as described - I learnt my lesson from these con artists - The next boat I bought it brand new from a boat show (I now have a Stacer 509 searunner)
  17. Sorry not to dampen your spirit, their is not much that will go in 50cm of water - maybe a jetboat or a canoe

  22. troll past it is the best method with small swell and no wind on the ocean side
  23. A hydrofoil on the engine should lift up that heavy arsed 'ol girl and get it up on the plane quicker.
  24. I was having the same problem with my 115 E-Tek and was told (don't put one of those on you could tip the boat over) Bull S**T, This was one of the best things I have ever done - it now go heaps better at low speeds and jumps up out of the water to plane quicker - and saves on fuel
  25. It looks like an old Savage Surveyor - they had two small rectangular windows in the front like that -
