Went for a spin in the Bay this morning thought there might be a few flattys about But they were a bit scarce caught 5 only 2 were worth keeping , was about to call it Day when I got a solid hit it felt like a very big flatty or a small jew it made 3 very Strong runs before it came to the boat to my surprise it was a 42 cm bream a P/B Fore me on S/Ps ,So what looked like being a slack day turned out pretty good

I built this live bait tank it cost about 120 $ and works great I also have 2 more drums if any raiders want one?

Having crossed that bar a few times I allways thought it was worse on the way back in with those big swells pushing the back of the boat around ,but you only ever seem to see pictures of boats going out ,only fools get into trouble going out because you don't have to go, but you do have to come back .Just my thoughts, in the end I went to Beragui a lot less pressure same fish

Went for a spin in the Bay this morning it was slow to start with but picked up when the current started to run ,kicked off at the groynes at Kernell got 2 big hits but did not hook up the third hit very strong got the fish to the boat it was a good flatty I reckon it was in the 70 cm bracket but as I reached for the net it shook its head and spat the hook I was not happy to say the least I would have released it anyway but I would have liked to have gotten a photo of it ,anyway the action picked up after that couple of casts later I landed nice 55cm flatty and not long after that a 67cm and a63cm so all in all it turned out to be pretty good morning ,best I have had for a while Sorry about the pink towel in the pict

Hit the Bay this morining thought I would try for some reds at my usuall spot ,the conditions were perfect but no reds plenty of trevally stayed there for 2 hours got about 6 trevs ,moved over to Moll point the trevs were pretty thick got busted off a couple of times thought it might have been some rat kings,finally landed one turned ot to big trevally [see pict] left there and went for a spin for some flathead wasted 2 hours ANY WAY A GREAT WAY TO SPEND A MORINING

Mate I am going up to Iluka next week, witch is across the river plan to do a bit s/p fishing so will let you know how I go, will be away for a couple of weeks hope the weather stays good If there is any Raiders up that way can give me some info that would be great

Just went out to the garage counted 14 outfitts ,from spinning to game You can not have to many????????

First post for a while been to cold , any way fished Botany Bay this morning, late start due to the very low tide got on the water at 7 30 it was to be soft plastics only day ,things started a bit slow at Bonner Point couple of half hearted hits but no hook ups tried a few other spots for bugger all , moved over to Brighton in front of the Novatell got acouple of small fish and then a good solid hit witch was a nice flatty witch went 65 cm my best for about 2 months stayed there for a while to see if there any more like that but no luck , moved down the bay to Ramsgate in front of Coles got 4 more there around 54 to 50 cm and a few under sized fish called it a day at 11.30 all in all agood morning Looks like the Bay might be starting to wake up .

Johnno the 475 hulls changed half way through 2003 they are now called 480 they got longer and wider , I have a 2003 Legend witch is the same hull as you are looking for but is a centre console the best advice i can give you get the Millennium Hull it is great ,soft and dry ride ,at the risk of upsetting onwners of other brands I think it is the best ride of any aluminium boat in its class I would be glad to take you for a ride any time If you email Quintrex they will send you a catalog If want any more info PM me your phone number only to happy to help

good on you mate you have put into words what most of us feel like you I have allways voted LABOUR [57 years old ] but this time I will be thinking long & hard

Not fishing the weekend ,plan to fish Botany Bay on monday weather permitting
