  7. firstly drop into coastgard at the end off the break wall in harrington and pick up the local map it has all the gps marks on the back with all the relevent wrecks and reefs on it snapper'' as you leave crowdy ramp head north west for a good 600meters to avoid a bommy then straight out in fount off the light house in 40 to 70 meters prime snapper grounds best bait fresh squid from the local co op but half pillys work well to mermaid reef is also a good spot but not in a swell as it gets shallow very quick more a spot for the sp's boys wide off mermaid is a fad in 50 or so meters hot spot for dollys and between the fad and mermaid is also good snapper grounds also perlys there trolling with the warm water hitting crowdy now anything is possable set your spread early and work the birds straight out from the light house we usuly troll wide then north and head back in to the fad then back to the ramp we have picked up stripped marlin near the fad and wahoo 100 meters from the boatramp so leave your lures out all the way home sharks berlying for snapper will bring the sharks in around 9am there a pest so start early for snapper and move as soon as the shark show up if you like shark fishing start in 50 meters off harrington fishing for flattys and move wide in 10meter hops till you find the good size flattys usuly between 50 to 70 meters abit off berly and your in shark mecca one off the mako hot spots on the east coast but if your new to shark fishing do'nt berly and piss off when you start loosing flathead that should keep you busy also NEVER CROSS THE BAR at harrington go to crowdy not worth your boat or your life good luck and have a great time cheers gary
  8. what are you fishing for crowdy is one off my fav spots cheers gary
  9. i have about 10 in stock left there 4.5 meter poles and spline bases there exactly the same as relax from the same supplyer only the poles are stiffer as i had them put 2 more raps on the poles they have a money back garentee and a five year warranty and at 400.00for two bases and two poles there a good deal why are they so cheap because i make my money in heavey eng.this is a side line for me so your not paying for sales staff or a wearhouse or some one to answer the phone your buying directly from the importer no middle men and i'm not greedy cherrs gary 0438264377

  20. the lake has monster mullet best to use a fly rod or a small hook and doe the currant rips along the breakwall you will have to use a fast walk on a running tide or cast up currant there is thumper blue nose bream around the cleaning table on dark and good flattys on the inside of the breakwall near the outlet nippers are the best bait and can be pumped at old bar but not at harrington go and get some fresh bait at crowdy fish co op and some prawns to eat use the shells as berly and the heads as bait for flattys were i mentioned best before sun up and around dusk also if you go to old bar fish the whalf near the boat ramp for flattys and to pump nippers at the end off the main drag take the dirt road past the airport about 1km park and walk to the island best at low tidethe further you walk the bigger the nippers hope you have a good time cheers gary
  21. that suxs ass i feel sorry for you do you wont me to come around and tow the lovely beast to the ramp and back for you it will cost you a days fishing wide though hope it shows up soon cheers gary

  25. it runns from silverwater to rose hillthere are heaps off mullet and bream but it was the most polluted water way west off hombush bay i may be thinking off duck creek that runns to rosehill behind the old rta site good place to catch bait but i'll give you two tips never eat fish from there and don't dig in the mud as you will get gassed from polution in the mud 18inches down very toxic a good place to stayaway from cheers gary
