  5. Scum. Mate that sucks...I'm sorry to hear I know the feeling all too well! Cheers Tony
  6. I don't blame the pelican, they'd be pretty rough to eat whole! The jackets one saving grace for me is they taste great, but fishing outside when they're abundant is an absolute %%%%%, I've lost more pounds of lead than I care to think of. Cheers Tony
  7. Those are some great fish mate! Absolute cracker of a red... Cheers Tony
  8. Nice jewy Ceph.... So much sweeter on an artificial! Cheers Tony
  9. Ripper fish buddy! Any whiting over 35cm goes pretty hard on the light stuff so I reckon that one would've given a good account of itself... Cheers Tony

  13. Nice fin matey... That's one of only a few I've heard of taken on a lure so far this season... Cheers Tony
  14. Fantastic fish mate... I love the photo too, it says it all. Regardless of the weight of the fish, at 140cm your fish has the biggest possible gonads of any yft... That's gotta count for something Cheers Tony
  15. Hey Jake I've taken the yak out for a couple of short sessions just to get used to it but I've been too busy to get out for a proper fish... I've added a couple of things to make my life easier and I'm probably going to give it a lick of paint over the next few months in time for summer Cheers Tony
  16. Jake I've caught plenty of flatties on them, having said that I think they'll hit pretty much anything that moves. Camo has given me the best results so far, in the LCR they are unstoppable on the flat ones... I've caught a couple of trevors on the new penny worms also. I use about a 1/8th jighead- cast out, let it hit the bottom, couple of small twitches, pause, small flick and repeat. EDIT: And of course, as with anything, tailor smash them. Cheers Tony
  17. That's a nice camera mate, I gave my ex the H2 and it's awesome. Good shot too! Cheers Tony
  18. Wow. That's a nice tuna and a thumper red! Good stuff mate, what did the snapper weigh? Cheers Tony
  19. Very nice fish Greg.... Tuna for the lads at work eh? I need to get a job working for you, I could deal with fresh sashimi for lunch! Cheers Tony
  20. Great king mate... Who cares when it was caught. Cheers Tony
  21. That's an awesome red mate.... To get that from a yak would be great fun...nice eating too! Cheers Tony
  22. Stylo if you ever want some company let me know mate... I just bought a yak a week ago primarily to chase squid. Was this guy out of the harbour? Cheers Tony
  23. Not bad for by-catch! Nice jewy mate. Cheers Tony
