  1. Great yellow mate , good to see them feeding in such cold weather ,what was the water temp?
  2. cungee george , if every fisherman in aus , estimated over 1 million, voted correctly in the election we would not have this problem with greens and marine parks .Towns like Hat Head and south west rocks are next to go like Bermagui did .All the servos and bait shops GONE. You are never going to stop them now they have started .Its a very sad state of affairs when you cant do something you love in your own country .Soon there will be no sport at all caz it kills the grass !!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. I fished a carp comp at wyangla dam a few years ago and a crowd member from the weigh in got his family station wagon and put in over 50 carp weighing up to 5kg on the carpet in the back .There were over 100 people watching and even some were dry heaving at the sight of this on a 35 degree day with no ice .............
  4. Got 4 today in the harbour , pjs are like you said , just like anchors
  5. I was on the harbour fishing sow and pigs with the wife . Had to take her back to rose bay as she got sea sick .We got a few trevaly and bream and left at 10am , it was a good size swell running through the heads .

  13. We had a total of 31 bream and 51 trevally which all were released except for the ones in the photo . There were no leather jackets as we fish on the surface not the bottom . I fished the bay on thurs with a business associate for 50 fish , sat in the same part of the bay that you stated and only got 10 bream the rest trevally . They were alot of under size that went back
  14. Was going out sunday for a fish but due to the swell picking up decided to head out sat arvo . Got on the blower and had 2 mates here and waiting within 10 minutes ( never a shortage when it comes to wetting a line ). We got down to rose bay at 3.30 and headed out to south head and anchored up .I had only fished this spot once once in the last 10 years . Wind was sw 10knots for 10 minutes then it picked up to 20.The sea was .5 of a flop and current was non exsistant . We started to burley and it only took 5 minutes for the fish to arrive . Wanted bream but trevally were getting in the way . Started to get the bream but they were way out the back of the boat behind the trevally . The other boys didnt care as trevally are great fun on lite gear . We ended up with a good catch of bream ,trevally ,1 lone red and a few tailor . Got back in time to have a look at the lunar from the ramp .Glad we went yesterday as today the wind is humming .
  15. Yes we started at those rocks then moved east to the red markers in the shallows . Common Tony , just caz he has won 3 times this year doesnt mean he is allways going to beat me .
  16. Love the rain , means more active fish

  17. All caught on bait , dangar island is correct
  18. Took the family up to the river today for a fish along with a mate . We launched the boat around 6 and went over to Danger shoals . I got the first fish which was a nice bream just on the 1kg mark , we got another 7 fish before the dreaded catfish moved in . We usually get a few jewies in this spot but there was none today . We then went out to the middle ground but only got 3 bream as there was plagues of chopper tailor .It was then that it started to look like rain so we went back to danger for the change of tide .It was very busy for the next hour and a half till we pulled the pin at 12 and went back to the ramp for lunch .No rain and no boat traffic , it was a great day out .
