what was the Sol spooled up with

what SP did it take

what part of the tide was it

I think that has wet the appetites of all the fishos looking forward to the kingy season. Im sure evryone will be at the tackle store tomorrow getting the daiwa, gulp alive and seaching around the harbour for spot XYZ.

That was a cracker fish Joe and the biggest king we have put ova the side of the current Skeeter to!

Just wish the bream and salmon were a bit more on the chew too!

All in all it was a beautiful day to be out on the harbour and with fish like that how could it not......

Dude your more than welcome on the boat anytime...

Hi dude the fish was caught on a 6" gulp sandworm camo colour and on 4lb fireline it was on the run down of the tide

Thanks Greg it was your phenominal boating skills and guidance that made the difference on landing that huge king :1prop: i really dont think i would of caught that king without you or Pat ... i think this king was a team effort ... It was almost like you had hooked the fish and reeled it in for me with all that knowledge you passed on to me during the exhausting fight .. haha

If you weren't a fishraider I simply wouldn't believe you caught a kingy of that size on 4lb fireline. Plenty of fish that size have blown away much heavier rigs in much more 'open' water.

But this only goes to show just how impressive that capture is. A fantastic effort!
