Hacking today Couple of fish

Fished the flats this morning tide was a bit high when I got there. Pumped nippers and managed to drop the first fish. Moved around first fish a legal flounder with a big hook in its throat so kept it. Next fish took a good run and had me guessing , the 42 cm whiting was a very welcome addition to the esky. Managed another 2  33 cm fish which made up a good feed.  Didn’t get any small whiting. 
yes a quiet morning but got a feed.

Nice quality amongst your feed there @hookerbruce, that whiting would be a verrrryy welcome addition to anyone's esky. WHo's to complain about not getting smaller whiting, quality of quantity anyday. Great haul, well done.

Great stuff and nice feed. Can’t complain about that. @Yowie reckons he left the fish for you, but I think you were the gentleman that let him catch the feed for his family! On ya!

It must be a healthy environment where you and Yowie go fishing. The fish are all in excellent condition. Ideal situation to get the bait and transform it into fish for the table in the same outing.

Don't know much about pumping nippers. Do you keep them alive and what do you do with any that are left over when you finish fishing?
