Sydney Harbour “Windy Tuesday”

Headed out from Roseville for a session on the kings offshore, but the prediction was far from accurate the swell and wind were shocking - WNW wind at 30-40 kph and 1.5m swell, so outside was challenging.

We fished off Canae Pt (Quarantine station) after filling up on Yakkas at Middle head and drifted for 6 nice sand flathead and 4 really nice tailor. Neither the schools of salmon or Kingies were interested in any live or dead baits or tiny SP’s. never the less a good feed for a few hours fishing - and God was good - no rain.

Well done- a nice feed. Sometimes, it's annoying seeing fish and not being able to hook up. Good to see results like this even though the wind is so strong.

What bait did you use to catch the banana-fish ??

Well done Bob - glad to see you got something. Hopefully the harbour picks up looking forward. the water temp is now slowly going up after months of it sitting around 16degrees.

Looks like we're in for a week of rain Bob. Apart from having occasional flooded roads, so far so good. Obviously limiting my time fishing and playing bowls...such is life. Neil
