M1100S Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 there goes my summer fishing season... unfortunately this happened to me last week at botany foreshore ramp. lucky the only thing that was hurt was the boat, no one on board when it happened. currently at the repairer waiting for assessment, port side of boat is buckled..., my hardtop is out of what, there is a dent on the starboard side where got pushed into the Ramp. oh well... poop happens, thank god for insurance. 6
big Neil Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 That's terrible. Didn't the Trident skipper see you?? Fortunate that nobody was hurt but you are going to be inconvenienced quite a bit, with Summer coming on. I hope that you get it seaworthy again quickly mate. bn
zmk1962 Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 Wow. So sorry to see that. Brings out all sorts of questions on “how the ….” But at this time focusing on the positives - no one hurt, insurance in place- as you seem to be doing is really the best. Wishing you a speedy repair. Zoran
bessell1955 Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 Not, good, not good t all. I do hope that the repairs are expedited
Squidless Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 man that's a bummer, glad nobody got hurt. the insurance company should do loaner boats like cars when they go in for long repairs. how do they expect us to survive without fishing?
jeffb5.8 Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 Man, that would have made a fair sound, takes some force to bend that section
