No Bass, but Flatties at all locations (and lots of baby Jewies)

Went out for flick for Bass up Webs creek before the storm, expecting them to be hungry as the low pressure approached, but my buddy Greg and I were disappointed 😔. Went further down stream to Wisemans and caught lots of little Jewies , but some nice flathead on live prawns. Then headed offshore today with newbies Rick and his daughter Laura (not been fishing before) and pal Danny. We went to the 30m mark and boated about 30 Flatties, keeping only 7 (good excuse to go again tomorrow), many were sub 40’s but were released to grow bigger.

A storm usually gets the fish fired up, obviously not every time, though. You always seem to have a plan B that produces the goods Bob. Flatties are an excellent plan B alternative, in anybody's book. Good luck with your next outing.

Cheers, bn
