swordfisherman
I have the hairtail bug again so off last night solo too Jerusalem bay and I was the only boat there until late in the night. I had a nice hammerhead swimming round the boat and tried to bait it and I thought I was on when the rod nearly got ripped out of the holder and after a short fight landed a reasonably good size mulloway. I got 4 hairies as well so a pretty good night

Larkin
After a few reports of hairtail lately, good time to get out there. Weather’s been good too, so not too cold out there at night. The swordies will be eating seafood for at least the next week or two! 👍 nice catch. Edited March 3, 2023 by Larkin
Pickles
Well done Stewy - seems Hairtail are turning up - even offshore (12 mile reef last week). How do you like to cook them? Edited March 4, 2023 by Pickles

How do you like to cook them? They have to be well cleaned of all the chrome and then pan fried fillets

zmk1962
Great solo effort Stewy! … that’s some good eating there. Jerusalem can deliver and it’s nice to see it happen. Was the crew just a tad jealous for not coming along? cheers Zoran
