Kings, flatties, Trevor’s and kracken off Sydney

Recommended Posts

Headed out for the first time on over 15 days (getting withdrawal tremors after such a piscatorial drought). Water temp was down to 19.8, so didn’t even try for Dollie’s  and straight to Long reef with my buddy Peter- and the Kingies were there in numbers, (but only tiny - biggest went 58). Heaps of trevally - most just under legal, but a few around 40.

Stopped for an offshore drift and got a nice feed of blue spots. Yakkas were monsters and tried 4 spots before we got any small enough for live baits. Weather was great by 11am,  but windy and choppy (WSW about 15kts) first up. Not a great day, but better than mowing the lawns.
