  7. Thanks, Bass minnow in blue, Having some teething problems with motor height, the 25 long shaft Yamaha is 38 mm longer than Mercury. Have lifted it 30 mm with a block of wood, seems ok. It also porpoises, it was on the 3rd hole form the bottom trim, droped it down to the second, better but still not good. Will try the bottom hole next trip. Have only been in glassy conditions down at Berowra, it flys compared to my old tub, around 25 knots and is so stable to fish from! Water temp was 14.8 a week ago, this week it was 17.8! Summers coming! Howard.

  12. Well done, another successful trip outside. The boats going well and the flys are flying! Howard.
  13. Had this dilemma a few weeks ago, went for a couple of 4500 baitrunners. They just feel a lot stronger. Have a few eb 20 and 30's and they work well. The 6500 is just a bit too big for 6 to 8 kg work, but great for 10 kg! ABA should be able to do the 4500 for around $200. Howard.

  23. "Just put the next one in the open eye of the next gang hook, and slide the swivel down the shank to the bend of the hook. wallah." Shows how long it's been since I made any! Thanks for that! I find 3 hooks plenty, I have 3/0 and 4/0s made up, Bream hook better on the smaller hooks! Howard.
