I use a 4000size reel paired with a 10’6 light surf rod

Depends on where it is going to be mounted. Make sure to make a cage for it. The oven gets pretty hot to touch wouldnt want to accidently touch it or have electrical wires touching it. You would be in for a bad time

Yes i have. Its how the unit works. You can purchase a step up converter. But honestly im happy with my unit

My travel buddy draws 10amps but if the battery isnt getting charged by alternator or solar. Current draw drops. Takes a while to preheat oven and hours to cook a meat pie. iv given up on the idea of using it on my boat. It stays in the fourby. my experience with travel buddy. There are plenty out there that may be different

You would be hard pressed to find something that will suit your needs with that budget

Wont it make more condensation if warm air is inside cab and cold air is outside? imthinking about ways to battle condensation for my next hairtail outing

I had a really similar issue with my yammie 50hp 2stroke. Ended up being a blow. Head gasket. Plugs were wet with water. So 2 of the 3 cylinders werent getting fired. you cant burn water

I did. Well kinda. During the day saw a large bellow of smoke on the southern end (i was near gan gan). Saw 2 rangers with harzards on going towards smoke. Then saw rfs with flashing lights. Then the Nissan Patrol beach recovery. Didnt think too much about it. Only to leave around 10pm the lavis lane to head hime. Drive past them with the burnt out landy on a car trailer with the patrol towing it. not too sure what happened. But can only assume something electrical shorted and burnt. Poor guy

Like most beaches, Stockton beach front is always changing. We cruise along and try to find small waves mostly around Tin City towards Anna Bay. I find anywhere along towards to shipwreck has nasty big waves. Very hard to fish. The missus does will on freshly caught beach worms, catching from Whiting, bream and trevally. And i just catch shovel nose rays. During sunset i find is best time for Tailor, which we can sometimes see bust ups, Would throw a pilly on star sinker, catch a few then the school would move on.

Atleast this story is better than getting told off by locals that what im doing is illegal and threatening to call rangers on you. But thats another story in itself. Sorry for the late reply as iv been away. A draw test for example is you grab a load (a spot light) with specs you know the current draw (10amp hr) fully charge battery and turn it on using battery. When battery has gone flat you know how much amp hour the battery has. if your 10amp light dies in 9hrs. You multiply your amp load with usage time (10amp x 9hrs) you have a 90ah battery

Thats a donkey of a battery? Whats its amp hour rating? Charge it to full and do a draw test to work out its true rating

Different batteries require different charging algorithms. “The old days” most batteries would be lead acid and thats what a dumb charger would do. what type of battery is your new one? As i know my lifepo4 battery requires a “jumpstart” when it dips under 10v to wake up the bms. When my redarc bcdc does not see it

Could be corrosion on the top of the rod stopping the float reaching full mark. just take out the sender and measure the length and replace
