  1. yeah mate there is still something over there, kyeemah is a way better proposition.
  2. no mate, the only thing is when you head out past the cooks river breakwall things stick the the airport side as there are some curtains and markers on the right to steer clear of. they are all lit up at night too so its easy peasy. Cheers, Adrian.
  3. hi mate, what are the chances it was a shark of some sort. the bull sharks would be at home in the dirty stuff cruising for a bite to eat i reckon. unlucky on the lack of fish, but at least you had a crack.
  4. hi mate, i fished both the sydney east (next to the peak) and the botany wide fad last sunday. sydney east fad was dead with green 17-18 degree water. the wide fad was slightly warmer and had a few undersized dollies. good chance that at least one of them has been lost due to the big seas though.
  5. great work mate, ive been thinking of hitting the stones myself but as yet have not been motivated enough lol. i think i am now though.
  6. very nasty fog in the hawkey, got caught out in berowra with my brother one year and boy was it disorientating. great pic.
  7. great work mate, definately trying times out there at the moment on the kings with alot of people not scoring any fish. well done.
  8. great work on the frigates mate, they sure are fun to catch. not sure about how to cook them but i use them for bait, great bait for flathead and jew.
  9. awsome work there, i was out thursday and the water looked good but we trolled 0's. great pics of the capture.
  10. its seems the fish are in patches at the moment, the trouble is finding those patches lol. i trolled outside on thursday and we didnt turn a rell either. managed to see a pod of dolphins anihalating a big school of slimies just south of botany a couple kms out.
  11. the sydney east fad (botany close fad next to the peak) is definately missing, i was out on thursday and could not find it then quickly checked the fisheries site and it has been reported missing. pretty dead at the peak as well with plagues of jackets on thursday. good luck.
  12. well done, i was out today in magic conditions, went out to the peak then back in and tryed everywhere in the bay for a big fat donut.
  13. i was up there last weekend and a host of blues were weighed in at the station. here are a couple of pics. Cheers, Adrian
  14. i was up at port on the weekend just passed and as is always the case the fishing seems to have picked up a bit out wide. saw 3 blues weighed one at 199kg and one at 200+ plus a host of other boats tagging a few blues and stripies. shame the interclub was fairly quiet. Cheers, Adrian.
  15. a mate of mine is braining the big tailor and salmon on the beaches down south at the moment.
  16. i fished pitty last weekend and found some bruiser kings well over 1m but didnt hook up. only fished plastics and dead baits though. they are out there, get into em. Cheers, Adrian.
  17. last two trips to boatany have seen a couple of tinnys with no lights on and practically invisable in the dark. only saw them because one of the guys each time was shining a torch at oncoming boaties. These are the guys which need to be caught because they are an accident waiting to happen. Cheers, Adrian.
  18. didnt get sown there, ended up on a mates boat out of botany where we couldnt raise any beakies. plenty of small dollies at the fads and some kings inshore though. Cheers, Adrian.
  19. not too sure about the bar. i always go out through jb as i am a chicken lol.
  20. Whitesands caravan park is tops at Husskisson, st georges basing is a top fishing spot and there is access to the ocean but a bar must be crossed. Cheers, Adrian.
  21. launch at culburra mate and go through crookhaven heads. only around 10-15 k run out there from memory. way shorter than leaving from murrays. Cheers, Adrian.
  22. ant of the headlands should see some good squid around when the swell settles down a tad. also try the inside of palm beach on the jetty in pittwater for good southerns. Cheers, Adrian.
  23. Hi There, WOndering if anyone had fished JB or the banks recently and can remember what the water temps are like down there. i am looking at heading down for a shot at some beakies in the next week or so and any info would be much appreciated. Thankyou, Adrian.
  24. Downrig point perp for some big kings on live squid and slimies. Middle ground is also good for kings as well. If you head offshore try the banks, its a bit of a drive from JB but well worth it if the fish are there. Cheers, Adrian.
