  4. nice king arman! when i had my last rigger i used to run the bait back about 5m in the harbour.
  5. i always find bait on the sounder at moll point close to the rocks and also the drums. i found heaps on sunday by couldnt catch one in over an hour of trying for some reason.

  9. i fished thursday but had to head for home saturday for a compulsory work function. we didnt turn a reel but there were some great fish caught including a 97kg stripie by a lady angler. top effort in the crappy sloppy conditions out wide. some tuna and albacore were caught as well as some nice makos. all in all a good time down the coast and quite a few brews sunk at the huski pub.

  14. i was there two weeks ago for bugger all. one jewie about 15cm and a hundred eels and eel tail cattys.
  15. the top side of the wier there fires for bas on small surface lures.
  16. head left from the tench reserve boat ramp and you cant miss it about 1-2kms straight ahead. awsome countryside with plenty of bass, mullet, carp and eels.
  17. great fun on light gear, love to rrun ito the weed. good jewie baits too.
  18. just to keep in tune, we had a no result in broken bay also on sat.

  20. cheers mate, as i mentioned before it will be catch and release only. got no intention of taking any home.
  21. cheers slinky, will definately give it a crack if the seas are favourable thats for sure. will have both mono and wire leaders out just in case. a mate of mine swears by mono leaders for hammers also. would love to see the pics when you can get at them.
  22. agree mate, trevs go hard on the light stuff. i recently hooked a stripie on the shelf on 4lb fishing a plastic in the bait school and boy did the stradic sing. other than that i havent got a barra but king beats jew hands down and they are easier to catch too.

  24. good read there hodgey, i reckon they are just crazy fish. good fun on light line though in the nepean with the 3 kg bruisers getting around.
