  1. Well done. Great report and photos. Who needs Golf when you can go fishing. Cheers.
  2. Well done. Great report. Super photos.
  3. @Little_FlattyI use the clips with the swivels in differnt sizes on my Lures. Works well no problems. With my beach rods I am going to try a swivel clip on the mainline and one one the leader. I use Mono, should be interesting. If it works I won;t have to change hooks all the time. I will just set up a couple of rigs with different hooks. Cheers.
  4. Good luck.@maccapacca Thanks @DerekD for the Info.
  5. You can't beat fishing with the family. Well done. Super photos.
  6. You have to experiment. Weedless hooks are better when you are having problems.

  8. Is it the one at Berowra Waters or the one at the Hawkesbury ? The one at the Hawkesbury is closed. Cheers.
  9. Great story and weekend. Super photos.
  10. Win some lose some. Better days ahead. Cheers.
  11. Alvey's only use Mono. Ask the experts there are plenty of Blackfish people on the Forum. On that Alvey I would be using Schneider Mono 9lb especially off the rocks.
  12. @Denisfisho Make sure you clean your lures and dry the hooks so they don't rust. If you use scent on the lures, clean the lures with a toothbrush in warm water and let them dry. Put them in a snaplock bag. If you have Berkley plastics, you can buy Berkley Gulp to preserve them. Cheers.
  13. If you happen to buy a Dawia Seabass, take your reel with you. I bought one and the reel wouldn't fit. Don't know if the rod was faulty but I returned it for credit and bought a Prevail 2 10'6''. I am glad I did. Great rod on the rocks. I have a Jarvis Walker 6000 Boss reel on it with 15lb Exage Mono line. Jarvis Walker gave me the reel to try out. It is a light weight reel, smaller then your average 6000. Has 15kg drag. Great reel. Cheers.
  14. Try and go with somebody who knows fishing and learn the tricks. It won't take long. We have all been through it. Cheers.
  15. Great report. Good to see the kids involved in fishing.

  18. For those interested the DPI has just released 1000 advanced Mulloway into Lake Macquarie.
