i only play a few often ..... battlefield 2 (well any tactical decent war game) and the splinter cell series (next one out soon woohoo ! ) on this subject can anyone suggest a graphics card so i will be able to play the newer games on my comp rather than another one ? oh sorry mate i worded this wrong the 10 lb stuff will be used for SP work ..... ive got seperate gear for jigging ..... i was just looking aat having abit of fun the the slightly smaller guys

I am going on a reef fishing session shortly from broken bay up to swansea and am planing on bottom bashing jigging and fishing SP ..... i will be using a 2500 Symetre and a Nexave 702 spin i am going to be putting 10 lb fireline on there will this be ok for snapper and kings ? oh and what SP should i use ? i was thinking jerkshad's, pogy's, sluggos and gulp squid

well done and a great report, im hopeing to get a few that size in a 2 weeks or so (will be my first if i get one only ever caught a red one)

3" pogy's and shaky shads also powerminnows, jerkshads and fry works well

does the snapper raider come in a 2 piece ?

i got a squidgy rig head stuck on a rock i was trying to snap the leader and the hook straightened ! i now stick to owner, tt, and nitro and havn't straightened a hook yet

im in sydney (fishing broken bay) and all i have caught is 2 just shy of 1kg ..... i am hoping to do alot more reef fishing this year instead of chasing the marlin and i am hopeing to get into some decent reds and kings at the moment i don't have a price range but was looking at spending $400 or so (dont have alot of money ) can you suggest anything in that range (mainly daiwa or shimano for the reel) sorry for hijacking the thread is it possibably if you could replie via PM so i dont get in trouble

thanks mate i was origonally thinking about getting my bream gear and sticking 5 kg line on there but deccided that wasn't such a good idea ..... any idea how much a decent combo like that will cost ? roughly?

great fish if you dont mind me asking what rod reel and line where you useing ? as i am in the market for something for exactly the same purposes

i use Yamashita and Yo-Zuri ones in pink mainly the orange as my second i find pink to be the most successful where i fish for them although im not sure it makes a great deal of differenve i have just used that one more ..... i also spray abit of the stimulat with ulrtabite stuff on them not sure if it makes a huge diffenence but id rather have it on than not i like the smaller ones as it catchs a larger range of squid

id probably stick with chrome lures (raiders etc) as you will go through so many SP with tailor ..... with trevally something like a 3" power minnow (although small they will work)

so do i ok well maybe abit to big but it will be able to handle decent snapper and kings

and all of the stuff mentioned will be able to handle decent sized snapper (4kg+ is that decent for sydney ?) and kings to 10kg or so ?

Hey Guys, what is a decent rod and reel for kings, dollies, jews, snapper etc ? mainly using SP and other lures but occasionally i may put a livie out ..... i dont want to go super heavy i was thinking 6-10 kg (there abouts) as for reels i was thinking maybe a 4500 ? at the moment i havn't soughted out a price range just looking for sugestions but i dont have a thousand to spend on a stella or anything but i dont want to get cheap stuff so mid range i guess Cheers, Fletcher1991 PS: i will need to be a 2 piece rod as i travel around

my fly rods are all multi pieve (although i am scared that onebit will go flying off into the water) and nearly all my other rods are multi peice for travle so far no problems except i have found the the feruls occasionally get stuck wich is a pain

thats disgusting ..... i wonder how they would like to be slowly tortured and killed ?

ane ep is an Eastury Perch ..... i think they can be found in they same areas as bass although usually like the more brakish water (i think) ?
