I would just like to put some further prospective to the great day had by all raiders on the day and the rewards that follow. You can never stop learning about fishing and with having kids SP's are great entry level to learn to cast, retrieve, fight and catch fish. Not to mention there is no need to bait their lines constantly. Here are a few captures of a couple of sessions since the social. My 10year old boy. My 4year old boy My 13year old boy My daughter actually caught the biggest of them all, but a netting error resulted in the fish lost. All fish caught were done so without any help other than netting. Just thought I'd share our experience! Cheers scratchie!!!

I've used them in the bay for livies to catch Jew! Have caught two with them as I couldn't get any other livies so they've worked for me.

Well done on a cracking tarwhine! If your having trouble keeping on a prawn in the surf or tide, half hitch the tail around the hook with your leader. You can use this method with any size hook and keeps the bait presentable. Cheers scratchie!!!

She let us have a 15min flick. In that time we seen 3 dolphins and this cute little penguin! What an awesome place!!!

How goods my wife. She suggested we all get up early surprise the kids, hook up the boat and go fishing while we wait for the sunrise on the bay!!! What a shame it was pouring with rain when we got up! Now she wants to go to the footy this arvo! What a woman!!!

Thanks yowie. I'm hearing you. But what I was trying to explain was when I start getting bites from cuttlefish or squid, everything else seems to stop biting. I actually was fishing the shallows at the time as all good size flatty up here love the shallows. I'm not sure if it's the tide or the shear amount of Cephalopods that are about and the fish move on!
