    4x4 0r 4x2

Go the 4x4 if you can justify it. Many a good ramp has bad days trust me It will also allow you to plan fishing trips in more exotic (read ridiculous) places Robbie.
  2. Hi Ben, Have a look at the boatbooks web site they hold charts for all over the world and you can purchase on line. Cheers. Robbie.
  3. It looks like Bryce to me.. I use it a bit for work.. Nice shots Dave, it is fun to play with hey
  4. Congrats guys. A very special time Robbie.
  5. Well done guys, all the best for the next 30
  6. I forgot to mention that David Lockwood gave Down to the Sea. "The true saga of an Australia fishing dynasty the Warren family" by John Little a big wrap. Has any one read it?
  7. I am reading The Old Man And The Sea to my one month old, the MIL thinks I am nuts Beats Dinosaurs and Wiggles any day It's not that long so I would like a few tips on others as well
  8. Jervis Bay Great inshore and off shore fishing, A little over 2hrs towing but a great spot. How high class do you want to go with the accom? And will you have a dog? Robbie.
  9. NO!!!! The funniest thing is watching them trying to string a sentence together post match
  10. Well done mate That is what winter is about, get out on those sh1te days. It may be to blowy to fish but it is never to ugly to sound out a new spot inside
  11. Yeah lake lyall is good There are plenty of reports about the place so do a search and you will find plenty of info
  12. My guess is pissed skipper in charge of 7t of glass
  13. No offense mate but it is that total lack of understanding of the species that will keep you from getting onto them like Oz does. Do some research and spend some time on the water and it will all come together. I don't think people like Oz and Hookem and Dan and Greg were given these spots when they picked up thier boats from the dealer. They worked for them! As I have said many times, fishing for kings is like hunting you need to actively seek them out to get results
  14. Hi mate, I dont fish JB as much as i would like too but here is a list of where I have had luck K - KINGS Y - YAKAS SL - SLIMIES T - TAILOR SQ - SQUID SN- SNAPPER Make sure you are not fishing in any of the closed waters PM me your email if you want a larger printable version.. Robbie.
  15. What Oz said There are dozens of wrecks in the harbour proper and heaps just out side. Do your research and it will be a lot more rewarding when you land on them Get a proper chart and have a look at it. Then on the slow days go and sound out spots on the way home I spent a lot of last winter down rigging and looking at the sounder for new spots and it payed off in Summer Robbie.
  16. Have a look at boatbooks web site they have what you are after Robbie.

Will, Send TobyW a PM he has one of the portable ones kicking around, he has just installed a fancy pants one in his new boat so he might want to get rid of his. Robbie.
  18. Nice one Mik. Fantastic way to blood the boat I wonder if Coastal patrol have any idea when you call out Pog Mo Thoin 3 times They may make you get a SY number When my next boat arrives (soon I hope) she will have an Irish name as well "Embarr" Hows your Gealic mythology? Robbie.
  19. I hope the editor got paid well Robbie.
  20. I use a three way swivel, the line between the swivle and the jig needs to be shorter than the jig to stop tangles. Robbie.
