30mm Reo bar goes alright. And you don't mind leaving that on the bottom. I've used house bricks but the drag on them is crazy. The boys got a little emotional when there breakaways didn't break. -

I use fish track. It's only about 80 a year from memory. Bom is pretty crappy compared to the others out there

4 hrs is a massive effort. I did 4 .5 hrs stand up on a shark last year and didn't walk straight for a week. The pain is unbelievable Great effort

From what I have seen the f3 is very busy from about 5 am it's amazing how many people drive down each day. I don't know how it flows as I was always driving up the coast.

If it's not proped right you could be laboring the engine which will use more fuel. I guess it depends on what you think is a lot.

If your current motor is running great why are you looking to spend 14-15 k to put a 4 stroke on of the same size? If it's for the fuel economy you will have do be doing a hell of a lot of boating to get your money back. The 4 stroke might also be significantly heavier then your current motor. All moden outboards are good quality. But make sure you find a good dealer that is easily accessible and will back you if you have issues.

My portable gas cooker got buried at sea when it caught fire 40kms off port hacking. The worst part was the chicken kababs weren't completely cooked!! We have since upgraded to a good quality 2 burner and a 2 kg gas -

Id try to get it sorted before next weekend. If it's stuck closed or close to it you will eventually over heat your engine. Your engine will log a fault on its computer so everytime you use it it will log another fault. The issue with that is if you try to sell your boat and the prospective buyer requests a computer print out it will show a re occurring fault and if you over heat it that will also show. Good luck with it.

I'd be checking with fisheries before you go nuts prawning in the hacking. I'm pretty confident it's not permitted and have never seen a single person doing it. Happy to be proven wrong

That boat will absolutely fly with a 90HO. I could be wrong but I think they are basically a de tuned 115. If you ever tow skiers it will come in handy. Will be a fun boat to drive

From my experience they don't tend to realy feed at night. Was there any size to the kings or just rats?

I was out Friday night as well. We were south of the hacking and had to put the antennas on the hard top down cause the were humming so loud I was crapping myself. If the fishing rods were horizontal they were quiet. But if they were lifted vertical they would humm like crazy. My mates hair kept turning into an affro pretty funny to watch but bloody scary at the same time. We ended up going for a run down to stanwell park to wait for the storm to pass. Was way to much lighting to go through it.
