  1. I got the 10 pack a few weeks ago. I havnt had them in the water yet but They look pretty good.
  2. My thoughts are the centre roller might actually make it harder to drive on. They way your trailer is currently set up will allow the boat to self centre on the trailer
  3. Good work. Great way to spend a morning!
  4. A very long way out in a small boat. The current and wind out there can be very different to what's happening even at the peak some days. If you have a 3 knot current from the north and a little wind from the south it can be quite rough. If you are comfortable going out there in your boat that's fine but I'd be careful recommending others to do the same in a 4.2. If there skill levels of boat is not at the same standards as yours people could find them selves in real trouble.
  5. 12 mile in a 4.2m is an accident waiting to happen.
  6. I tried to send you a link via a pm but I couldn't get it to send. My ones a luvelo vac sealer off an on line shop. It's great my fishing buddy and I have one each. I even put an inverter in the boat so I could do it all on the water. My one lives in the boat and still works well.
  7. I recently went through a similar scenario. I bought a boat from interstate which had at one stage in its life been registered in nsw and I had the nsw papers. Due to this the trailer didn't need to be weighed. So in answer to your question your trailer won't need to be weighed an the boat can stay on or the blue slip. I did a lot of research into this earlier in the year as my boat is 6.6 m so taking it off the trailer was going to be a real pain Cheers
  8. Hi Gary I'll be keen for the 10 pack. When you woork out postage to the shire shoot me a pm. Daniel
  9. Sounds like you had a great day. Well done.
  10. You must be looking at a different weather forecast cos I wouldn't be heading out in what I just saw.
  11. Sweet. Any idea of direction or distance ?? Cheers
  12. It's not worth the effort. I've done it before and you don't save much if anything. By the time you get a trailer, decent outboard, boat code, rego etc you will be up to the $2500 mark and heaps of effort. If that's your budget and what you are after just go see huie and grab the tinny he has for that price. You would be fishing this weekend then!
  13. Hi guys With the tuna doing my head in I was considering a king fish trip to the 12 mile or the peak. Has anyone been out jigging lately and had any success ? Cheers
  14. I was listening to the radio in the boat earlier and it sounds pretty exciting out there. I'll be out tomorrow. Call sign overdraft.
  15. Is that swell still pumping or has it dropped a little?
  16. I'm not sure how to get the distance off a trail but I have the same sounder as you. Before I turn the sounder off after a day trolling I go to settings - trip computer - then to the far right today button and it will give you distance traveled there. I'm sure there will be other ways but this works for me. Daniel
  17. I was planning on starting at the southern canyons then heading east.
  18. I'm planning to be out. Fingers crossed the weather plays ball !
  19. Very nice fish. The water looks a lot better to the south at the moment.
