great fish mate! looks like your a bit partial to a prawn yourself! (is that a hook in your mouth) at least you got away!

only if you get a hd(high def) box! at this point of time theres really only 'abc2' thats an extra and every now and then channel 7hd has something different on!

i took my work mate out today! drove to botany in the rain, then just as we pull up to the ramp the rain stops!!! launch the boat and run over to get some yakkas! now my freind tells me he loves fishing! but has no idea how to fish and has never caught a fish! so i tell him to watch me and ill try getting some bait in the boat! sweep! sweep! zzzzz zzzzzzzz this fish is making some runs and not co-operating! and i call to the boat next to us "gees this is a big yakka" well after about 10 minuts i get it to the boat! salmon! my freind misses with the net and he dives! i get him up again and he looks at me and spits my no.12 hook back at me! then i give my mate a go! and with a constant furious wind he pulls in a sweep "YES WHOOO this is my 1st fish" then he gets two yakkas and i go "YES WHOOO finally some bait" so we go for a troll outside to no avail! and i stop at one of the areas shown on the sounder as a bait ball hopeing for some slimies! and my freind gets another slimie around 25cm! time to go back inside to downrigg the yakkas! setup at moulinex and start downrigging the wall and we se some fish on the sounder some come up but no takers? i pull in the bomb to check if the yakka is swiming ok but when i release the line its a bit heavy! im on to my 1st fish off the downrigger! now it was a bit of a letdown to see it was an oz salmon! oh well my friend was happy hell be having fish curry tonight! back at the ramp at 11 and home we went!

yes as long as you have av conections and you will you can use it! it will play the digital channels no problem they will look great but they will only be in analog or standard format! which is fine!

yes long bay is a couple of km north of botany! its where long bay jail is!!!

ive looked at many stores for sluggos and they all say they cant get them at the moment! ive been to above mentioned tackle store but at villawood and they dont have them! you could always try the many other stick baits! bass assasin! squidgy flick bait! ect.. ect...

if ur using windows xp! just right click on image select edit then click on image and select stretch / skew! change th percentages equally until the size is right! i reduce to 30-40%! then save as and you have your new image!

how and what did you catch?

home early so decided on a fish! i pm'ed james and we were on! got to a deserted penrhyn ramp and launched the boat, ran about 100m out and told james i think well tie on some lures now and troll out to the heads! set the lures back and picked up to 4knots and less than 20seconds and im into a fish!!! short fight later and i have a tailor at the boat! as we didnt have the net ready and i could see he wasnt hooked well, i didnt mind dropping him on the lift! lures back out and start again. about 5 minuts later james says look "birds". so i turn towards them and troll over "ok james bring in the lures""im on" beauty another tailor!!! so we grab the small gear with metals tied on and turn to see BIG schools all over the bay! and start casting! straight away were on! hookups every cast! we fish for about 25m and keep 4 tailor between 30 and 40cm! and the schools start to fade! whilst un hooking fish james noticed 1 spewing up tiny fish 2.5 - 3cm! so back to trolling, all the way to long bay! but no bites! as i was keen to try for some snapper on plastic and the sun was dissapearing we moved into the rocks and started casting, i felt some hits but could only manage 2 large pike! on the way back we were treated to a show from about 10 flying fish!!!

now stumpy can you show me how to hook up 2 batteries in series! just in case you cant hear me saying over and out so that i can run more power and then you might get my message!

strugled to get out of bed this morning so bit late to the ramp(6:30ish launch edst). jetted off to moulinex to grab some yakkas and all i had for bait was the pike from last session that i planned to use for burley. this was good and bad! there was a few yakkas about and they seemed to really like the pike(good) but it just came off the hook to easy(bad) so it took a bit to get it right! first up was a tiny wrasse. then i got a couple of yakkas and after loosing so many baits before they hit bottom i gave up! thought id head out and troll lures north as last year the bonnies were pretty reliable and use them for burley on the south side near the lighthouse for snapper as ive been buying a few big placcies. also both types of fishing might pull a nice king as by catch! well i get to the north head put my lures out and turn to set boat course and speed, then i turn back to fine tune the distance of my lures! with scotty lyon right behind me and trolling for all of 30seconds hang on im pulling drag, stopped the boat and started winding. hang on its pulling a lot more drag than a bonnie! is it is it! yep it is! my 1st king for the season!!! its 65cm and i thought about throwing it back as im only 30seconds into fishing but no! trolled a bit further, then i came back into the bay and downrigged the yakkas past the markers from moulinex to penrhyn ramp! packed up (now 10am) and went home!!!
