Well done Mick and congrations- doing an all nighter is sometimes what it takes to come up with the goods. My brother and i FISHED the hawkesbury and surrounds from 4.30am till 330pm on the 17th and did not even get a bite or a throw back. The current was raging thru the hawkes on that day. Twin 1

Jani, buy some fresh uncooked prawns and some bacon rashes. De vein the prawns and remove the head,tail and outershell(cover over prawn body). Slice the bacon rashes into long strips the wrap a prawn in the bacon strip rolling the bacon over the prawn till its covered and then hold the prawn and the bacon together with a tooth pick. cook on a heated bbq plate or a pan on the bbq for two to three minutes till the prawn cooks and enjoy with a beer or a good glass of white wine. Thanks Roberta, Yes we did have a good time even though we did not even get a look in. The fishing gets a little frustrating when the fish are off the bite. WE were up at 2.00am and did not get home till 2.30pm- alota hours for very little but it shore beats working. Marcel Twin 1 -

Thanks for the birthday wishes - hope it was a nice day for all those who turned a year older. I spent the morning on thae Hawkesbury and ven though we did not catch any fish - not even a nibble, it was great to spend the day with my twin brother on our boat. Twin 1 -
