What a stomper! Great fish guys..... I know alot of us have been complaining about the rats recently me included but i think its safe to say that the bigger guys have now turned up! Anyone else of the opinion that the 65 cm rule was a good thing???

Was up at longy yesterday and could see you toy on the rocks down there. Sorry to hear about it. Ive surfed off the headland there for the last 15 years and also fished it for the last 4 or 5 and its not a place to be taken lightly especially when there is a heap of swell and depending on the swell direction it can change were the bomie and the point peaks and breaks by 50m or more so its definietly one not to drop your guard at. Main thing is your ok! dollars come and go always but lives don't.

Ok firstly congrats on a cracker fish. Thats quite an acheivement at a fad. Now something you might all get a laugh at I was just about to start getting on my high horse and say are you people mad???? I missed out the FISH part of the dolphin fish. I was thinking to myself what a knob for trying to catch a dolphin and i cant beleive anyone else hasn't said anything about whats this world coming to???? are dolphins really going to become the other white meat and everyones ok with this???? Then i re-read and oh! im the knob who can't read! Again congrats on a fish of a lifetime

Awsome dollie guys well done!!!! Im guessing you were but were you giving the boat a little gas when you were hooking up the beakies to set the hooks? where they all sharpened? coming back with blunt points or anything? I know the hookup rate for lures is far less than live or switch baits but if you are dropping them consistantly then maybe its time to start analizing the your system or it could be simply bad luck!!! Just some thoughts, and you guys probably have a tonne more experience than me so please dont take it the wrong way but i just always like to question what im doing to see if there is a better way . Tight lines Fishlexic

Hey mate, When you said you filled your boat up how high did you fill it. I recently havd my boat letting in a little water so filled it up in the garage where the floor was bone dry. Leave it over night because some leaks will be slow unless there is pressure on them like when your driving forward. I was just about to stop filling my boat up because it was about to wet the floor and also right at the top of the water line then just before i was about to stop it started leaking with the crack right at the top of the water line. hope that helps

Same we have trolled for days for a donut so getting something that will turn a reel always makes a days trolling worth it! Stripped tuna dont count though!
