Hi all...not to sure I could trust a min Kota while I slept at nite in the boat,or even if the battery would last long enough,lol.... rickmarlin,how do you go in a crowded bay with 2 anchors and a wind change arrives and other boats on one anchor rope ?..I know coal shaft bay gets crowded at times.i never stay in esmerelda.

Hi all...I'm curious to know the proper way to use two anchors for overnighters. i don't know if the way I do it is rite or wrong.i just shackle up another chain and anchor onto my existing anchor.it never failed me.

Hi all...a boat only rides rough if you drive them too fast.the deeper the v the faster you can drive them before they start banging hard.so if your never in a hurry and have a ton of patients get a flatter v boat,because stability at at rest is a good thing too.

Hi all...my brother in law has a seafarer Viking,a great boat it is.we often go out together in our own boats or together in each other's boat.my boats a bar crusher slightly bigger,his boat definitely doesn't ride faster or softer than my boat,it's much quieter though.ive been in his boat when it plowed strait thru a wave,mine has never done that. if you want a decent riding boat make sure it's at least got a deep v,heavier the better.

Hi all...there is a wreck not far out from moon island that I have caught snapper from,sorry I can't help with coordinates as I don't have them.there is a wreck off Catherine hill bay in around 50 meters of water,I've tried to find it and couldn't,it is a closely guarded secret apparently.but if you can find it ,your on a gold mine.its called the advanced it's a tugboat.

Hi all...kingies frequent Swansea bridge piers the drop over and moon island,live squids the go and can get them in the Chanel anywhere between blacksmith ramp and the bridge,the drop over and moon island Chanel side.snapper can be caught around the southern side of moon island along those broken line of bommie reefs. a mate of mine catches snapper on the barge just north of the drop over on a regular basis.

Hi all...I think the 8mm would be plenty strong.how much weight is the rope actually holding when anchored ???,it's will never come close to holding the boats actual weight imho.at a wild guess I bet the anchor and rope holds less than half the boats actual weight in bad conditions. im sure you could find some info on this on the net.

Hi all...you can catch kingies around the piers of the bridge with live squid when they are there.you can catch squid in the channel pretty much anywhere as long as you have weedy bottom.you should get a squid between the boat ramp and the bridge.

Hi all...flicken mad,maybe it was a diesel lol. you only have to look at motorcycles,have you ever riden a same cc engined 4 stroke and 2 stroke motorcycle ?.you only have to look at moto gp or super cross racing,4stroke have 2 times the cc as 2 strokes to be competitive.

Hi all...2 strokes generally have more torque at lower revs and a wider torque band than 4 strokes.so chances are the etec's are no different.
